So, it's obvious that in BF3 you have certain weapons depending on what side you are. Say if you are US you have SVD, and if you're Russians you have MK11 Mod 0... Anyway, there is this one rifle called SKS, and you have it on both sides! I somewhere read when you reach a certain rank, that you can use ALL weapons, without depending which side you're on. Yes. After you unlock the last 'new' weapon in a class your next unlock is the starter weapon but for the opposite side. However you are always restricted to use it in the class in question. I'm pretty sure the SKS is only on recons, but it may be available for all sides, usually I see it with 25's or 30's, though that doesn't necessarily mean much.

Best FPS (First-Person Shooter) for PC?
So Im looking for the Best FPS for the PC. Iv been playing Battlefield 2, GRAW, Americas Army, and one or two others for a long, long time, and I feel like theres less and less players online each day.
I'm looking for a good all around game, single player and Multi-, able to load in Mods (Like Battlefield 2), must have a Map maker (or something I can download to make maps with), and just all around fun.
I still plan on playing the games I listed above as I still think there awesome games (Battlefield is my Favorite because of all the mods I have for it)
I don't care about Price or how big of a system I need to run it, thats what I love about computer games, you don't have to buy a whole new system to play a game, just up grade a little if need be.Best FPS (First-Person Shooter) for PC?

Single player is also good, just start playing it on the hardest difficulty, makes the games frustrating, but more enjoyable at the same time.

Crysis is the most graphic intesive. Personally I'd vote for Half Life 2

Tactical Battlefield 1942?
are there any clans that actually play it like it was meant to be played? with ventrilo and tactical movements? like you know, if your in a tank your just going to get bombed by a airplane. But if you travel in a tank convoy you could shoot down the plane with the 3 or 4 50 cals no problem. It just piss's me off because the game could be so much more fun than people make it. Id like to play a 20 v 20 with tactics, like have squads of 5 with a engineer,medic,assault,anti tank, sniper in each. And have a commander issue orders to secure / defend flags ect... rather than the run, gun, die. style that people play. Battlefield 1942: need help with creating a map?
so i have a map =D that i made, but i need help for some reason the mod won't work when i try launching it/testing it
so i'm not sure if what i've done with it is correct or not =[
let me exsplain the map so far, and what i still want done to it.
it's a water map, purely naval battle
so far i have all the ships in the right starting spots, pointed in the right direction, and i have 1 spawn point set up for each side.
i also have a test plane on the carrier just to test out the plane spawning of the map.
what i still need to do:
add more spawn points, 1 for each ship
add more planes
tweak the ships so that once they are destroyed they don't respawn
make the objective of the match to be to destroy all the enimys ships
add weapons to the ships (i'm not sure if they come with them in the game or i have to manually add them, since they don't have them already attacked in the mod? )
side notes:
i'd like the starting tickets to be 200+
i want the lifeboats to be respawnable (the ones attached to the ships)(this i think i've figured out for myself, im just saving it for last since it seems easy to do ^.^; )
there are no control points, i want the game to be more, destroy the enimy as opose to capture control points
anybody who can help plz leave a msg =D

Battlefield 2 Project Reality Problem!!?
I have downloaded the pr mod for bf2 and have been playing with no problems until i was in al barash and i was inside a vehicle i decided to try a different server so i pressed the esc key and the program took a brief pass then the blue screen of death showed up and suddenly rebooted the computer. So i waited for the computer to start back up when it did it started rebooting over and over. So i had to shut it off and take out my ram card and put it back in. Apparently it had worked, right when i got back on my acount i quickly uninstalled the PR mod. The mod is actualy quite fun and i would really like to get back on it and play again, but i dont want my comp. to get corrupt in any way. It might have been a one-time glitch. As a gamer I have experienced similar problems and with BF2 even (it is a system resource hog and a helluva buggy game to begin with), so the first thing I'd suggest is to see if it happens again, if it doesn't then you move on, if it does then you probably aren't the only one who experienced this issue so I would search online, more specificly the BF2 game forums.
If you got a BSod, then quite possibly the chipset (of your mobo) and the video card drivers might have something to do with it too but that is a bit of a stretch, I would much rather seek the issue online to see who else reported the problem and what similarities your system and theirs have (hardware and software wise). Let's say you and Joe Shmoe got entirely different systems except for the video card, find out what version of drivers he is using, if it is the same, then try up or even downgrading yours to see if there is a difference.
If you really enjoy that mod and want to continue playing it then you will have to do a bit of research and troubleshooting on your own. I hope the example I have given you above will lead you in the right troubleshooting direction if you were not able to find a certain answer to your issue.
