Battlefield Bad Company 2 Online Multiplayer?

I am deciding whether or not to buy battlefield bad company 2 and I would mainly play for the online multiplayer (I never got the first one) but my main question is how does it relate to MW2 online?



I am getting sooooo sick of campers and noobs being good at that game. People that suck can use stupid strategies to kill people that are actually good with a gun. I win most 1v1 gun battles but I cannot stand it when someone just camps especially with claymores. Also all the mods and glitching that they have in that game. 10th prestige noobs that glitched there, disconnecting from the host, and all that other stupid stuff that happens online.



I know that you cannot stop the disconnecting and lag thing too much from game to game as it is usually not the developers fault. I want to know from people who have or have tried both games, are there stupid strategies that you can do like in MW2? Is the camping as bad, and I hate it when bad people are good like that. Its very different, and camping really isn't a issue as campers are very easy to get rid of in BC2. If you have a group haing out in a building shooting you as you enter the doors you simply use a nade launcher and blow a hole in the wall and get the drop on them. Or use a mortar strike and collapse the building on them. Or grab a tank and just level that entire area along with them. Another neat feature is spotting, you can spot enemies and everybody on your team will then see them on there map and radar as well as a little orange arrow pointing them out on screen. Its hard to camp when everybody knows exactly where you are.



I havn't seen any modding or hacking yet either. None of that crap from MW2 with hyper speed and all that stuff. Noobs will be okay at the game but not great, they tend to stand out to much. Just sprinting out in the open where you can drop them like its nothing. I have disconnected once in my 20ish hours so far and the lag has never been a issue. I put my cross hairs on a enemy and they take a hit. Its very well done.



The biggest thing is BC2 are vehicles. If you somehow get put on a team that just doesn't know what to do with them they can seem unfair. However thats very rare, usually people know to break out the c4 or mines when your in a tank heavy level. Or switch to engineers and mortar snipers when the base is getting hammered by a tank or heli. As far as stupid tactics....nube toobs and nade spam are not all that effective in BC2 so thats not a issue. There are alot of snipers but most tend to suck and in all fairness its not a bid deal with the size of the maps either.



Comparisons, MW 2 is faster then BC2 and has way smaller maps. In BC you have huge maps and with that people are more spread out. You are given squads, a gruop of up to 4 people on your team you belong to. Its optional but recomended. You can spawn on anybody in your sqaud thats alive to help you stay together and push the assualt when taking points or setting bombs. You can also set sqaud attack and defend orders. Plus anything you do with a squad gets you more exp. you get 50 points for a standard kill, however you get 80 for reviving a squad member...so working together has rewards. Thus this game has more team work then MW because people want to work together to get more points.



its also class based, but there all well balanced. Assualt has Assualt Rifles, under barral launchers like gernade and smoke gernades. They also drop ammo kits to resuply people.



Engineer has smgs and rocket launchers to take out vehicles. They can also repair vehicles aswell as drop mines.



Recon, or snipers have sniper rifles, c4 and mortar strikes. Plus motion sensor gernades which show anybody on your squad the location of enimes around where you tossed it. Very helpful, they also have better camo then MW 2. You really can disapear for the most part.



Medics have revives and can drop healing kits. But can't heal themselfs, and they have light machine guns with huge clips and great accuracy. But when your moving your accuracy goes to hell.



There are also all kit guns like shotguns and various other machine guns that everybody can use. Pistols also fall in this catagory.



Game is great fun and if MW2 is pissing you off a very good alternative. I have not gone back to MW since I got BC2. Its that damn good, just know the single player is weak. I know you said your mostly mutli so it wont matter. But really the single player in this game is pretty poor, its a fun distraction for awhile. But you won't play it more then once.
There is relatively no camping at all because of the size of the maps unless your defending on rush in which you need to camp at your base, I like the MP of BC2 more than MW2 now because of the lack of glitches so far in BC2 and the more variety you have in BC2 in terms of classes and vehicles..Battlefield Bad Company 2 Online Multiplayer?
