I was able to run it somewhat smoothly on low graphics before I fried my motherboard. I actually play a more commanding mod for battlefield 2 called Project Reality, In which I could hardly play without it lagging all the time.
I went from an Athlon 64 x2 3200 processor, 1gb RAM, and a 6100 GeForce graphics card, and ordered an entirely new motherboard, Athlon 64 x2 4200 processor, 2gb ram, and 9400GT GeForce. Still waiting for it to be shipped in %26gt;%26lt;.
I'm hoping I'll be able to max out the graphics without lagging all over the place. Any ideas? And will I have to buy a new power supply? My current one is 300 watts. Thanks! Will my computer run effeciently for battlefield 2?
Sounds like you'll be fine I think.
This website should answer this question and hopefully all of your future questions. They're both the same site, but you may be able to remember one of those easier than the other.

You should be able to run the game just fine with the specs you have, on problem you might have is FPS problems because of the processing power the game will need. Just dont set ALL the graphics to max just the important ones.
