How do you Download a Battlefield 2 mod?

I wanted to get a bf2 mod and then i thought,"Oh wait, how do I download a mod to play on battlefield 2?"

Okay go here http://battlefield2.filefront.com/files/鈥?/a> go to "Modifications" then click on the mod you wish to download it will show you a selection of versions after you go to release look for the first biggest number ex: (0.23) or v1.01 go for the highest number which means the earliest update of the mod or just look for their homepage by googling the name of the mod once its done it should be an exe just follow the on screen prompt and start bf2 and go to the community tab and click custom games there should be your mod click on it and it will restart bf2 and the mod with start your welcome



also if your connected to the internet bf2 when you install it will automatically get the 1.5 patch installed but will take a hour or so
