Hi i have the game Battlefield 1942 and i heard some stuff about MODs like desert combat and forgetten hope. How do i get these? Do i download them, if so where. Also, do i need to have battlefield 1942 install in my computer in order to play this mod?What is a MOD for Battlefield 1942?
you need to have bf1942 installed to use the mods. The mods all run on the bf engine. I get the mods from Fileshack but I think most of the big filesharing web sites have them. Most of them are pretty big, +500MB so you need a fast ISP. I recommend Desert combat final but that's me. There are many many mods. To see a list, download "The All Seeing Eye" It's a gaming interface and it lists all the mods. enjoy.
