I was having a problem being able to connect to the servers so I downloaded a newer version. I also bought the Special Forces expansion pack, and had that installed. Now when I try and play I get a message that says.. mods/bf2/shaders.lightning. fx not found. Do check your working directory and sync your shaders folder before calling your local rendering programmer. What the heck does this mean? And how do I fix the game so it works??!!Problems with Battlefield 2.?

you might also try to upgrade your motherboard and video drivers. i had a problem somewhat like this with the PC version of halo when a new patch came out .Problems with Battlefield 2.?
Delete the douwnloadf you got and retry it should work maybe. =)
