Will battlefield 3 run on 1969mb of intel hd graphics?

I'm getting a hp g7-1281nr for christmas (don't bother looking for its discontinued) and i wanted to know if it battlefield 3 will run on it



it has

-4gb ram (I might upgrade to 8gb if required)

-500gb hard drive

-intel dual core processor (2.1ghz if im correct)

-intel hd graphics (up to 1969mb when sharing memory)



if not will it run



-mw3

-mw2

-mw1

-Garry's mod

-Just cause 2

-counter strike



I under stand that Integrated graphics are horrible but im not shure a bout this computer saying it has 2gb of it

No, or if it does it'll run on the absolute minimum settings with such a poor framerate that it'll be virtually unplayable, BF3 needs a powerful dedicated graphics card. Those graphics aren't meant for gaming. However, there's plenty of good older 3D games that it will run well.

Edit: BF3 is far more demanding than MW2. Garry's Mod and Counter Strike should hopefully be playable, Just Cause 2 probably won't. COD4 might be. MW3 isn't much more demanding than MW2.Will battlefield 3 run on 1969mb of intel hd graphics?

From what I've seen, it's a Pentium D - not very high-powered. At bestm it might run the 1st MW game. I have a Core 2 Duo and wan;t able to run MW until I got an HD4550 (which is not a great card).

Short Answer: NO, never.



Integrated Graphics are not designed for such intensive games, you need a discrete(dedicated) graphics card to play such titles. And gaming on laptops is a waste of time, your games won't even play since they'll lag so much.



Get a laptop with a GPU such as GTX460M/AMD equivalent to play such games
