Battlefield 2 problems!!?

When I try to start up my battlefield 2 game for PC,

it says:

Error!

mods/bf2/shaders/lightning.fx not found!!! _DO__ check your working directory, _AND_ sync you shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP. (really!)



What do I do?? It's really importent that I get this working. Please help quickly, and simply.Battlefield 2 problems!!?
That sounds like the problem you get when you mess up the patches. Like if you install special forces and don't patch afterwards, or if you install patch 1.50 without installing patch 1.41 before.

Or it could be something simple like the shortcut properties "target" or "start in" path is incorrect or missing.
